Default Taiwan favor now....

Did an update just come with adding Taiwan to compete for favor, I just
saw this today, I believe that makes four areas competing for control now.

thx

They (and Taiwan) tend to win one or two matches in Halls on occasion and are then forced out.

I feel bad for those people in japan and taiwan... never getting favor and all. Unless they have the option to switch to euro or America, (surprisingly enough, Korea don't tend to get much favor either, probably because they are doing GvG) then they are pretty much excluded from UW and FoW.

Don't feel sorry for the Taiwanese..it's their own fault they can't win. How are you supposed to knock a hero off the alter when all your builds contain secondary mesmers who kite around with Distortion for the whole fight, firing off a spell every two minutes or so? The Japanese teams, on the other hand are adapting quickly, already they're coming up with competent, original builds.

Korea doesn't get favor anymore, because from what I've been hearing Guild Wars isn't doing so hot over there.

I don't do Heros Ascent but a couple times a week, but I haven't come up against any Taiwan or Japanesse teams that I know of. Mostly European and American.

I still feel bad for the Japanesse teams, I'll do randoms every once inawhile and come up against a Japanesse team where theres a Necro spamming orders with no Warrior or Ranger. They do tend to have a ridiculous amount of conditions in their builds though.

Its the silence before the storm. They are making them selves look stupid with there "Diversions". Then you'll all strole into HA one day and WAM! Taiwan have taken over the favour :P

If you think about it. Europe has a hell of alot of countrys fighting for it. Taiwan and Japan have only themselves. Same with America I guess. This s the way I look at it anyway

You're forgetting Canada and South America... America is a broader term than you think.

It seems when Europe wants to own America in HoH they do it for a week or something straight then hibernate for the next week. Maybe it's time we drop the R3/6 + IWay and start playing balanced again.

Mmm...Ranger Spike...but in an odd way...

I've yet to see either Taiwan or Japan win a match in HoH. I used to see Korea, but I have to agree I don't see them anymore.

P.S. Guild used to run Ranger Spike, so I miss it dearly...
P.P.S. I think Japan has potential.

Korea seldom Hold Halls these days because I guess they just don't do HA...they won the world championships though...So i guess again they are more into GvG. If they wanted to win in HA and take favour all the time (they used to have it a lot back in the day, they dominated) they sure as hell would...
